I watched "Big" last night with Arielle, and it brought me back to my childhood. Its funny how as kids we just want to be grown up. Then we hit our adolescent age and have to get jobs, and for some of us pay bills. But then most of us will go to college. We are in that transitional stage, or as Arielle would put it, stage of "transitionalization." Yes, I know that is not a real word.
And then we become adults, get real jobs that take up all our time. Have to budget and pay bills, make rent and our own food. Do the laundry and clean up after ourselves. It just makes me realize how much my parents, even more so how much my Mom did for me growing up.
I attached a clip from one of my favorite, and probably many peoples favorite scene from the movie. I hope you enjoy.
