Four Months Ago

Four Months Ago
Noah Kadera
It's been so hard, these 24 years
I've called out, but nobody hears.
I'd been locked in my shell I'd held so tight.
I didn't know...it just felt so right.
I just hid in my prison, my unmovable shell.
I hid from the world, that living hell.

I'd often thought of ending the fight
I'd lost my sense of beautiful light,
But I don't feel that way anymore.
I feel I finally chose the right door.
I wanted to quit, to end my strife,
But then that light re-entered my life.
Because four months ago, you cured my pain
When you touched my heart that had been torn in vain.
