Historic Charleston

Happy fifth of July. So last night was a blast! we are up here in Charleston, SC to celebrate 154 years of Sigma Chi at Grand Chapter 2009.

Last night the Fraternity rented out the Charleston Aquarium. They had all you can drink top shelf liquors for $20. Needless to say I took full advantage of this. The aquarium is right across the Cooper River from the USS Yorktown. They launched the fireworks off the deck, and it was an amazing show.

After the aquarium we walked back to the hotel with the now former Grand Consul, Bob Jones. We met up with Sigs in the Swamp Fox the hotels bar. The Fire-Fly's definetly got to me, and Arnold Palmer is the man.

At about 1am, we got word that Keith Krach, another Past Grand Consul was buying everyones drinks the the King Street Grille. We definetly had to take advantage of that. After multiple rounds it was time to close it down. I assisted Keith in getting and signing his bill of nearly $3,000.00. He even forgot his credit card at the bar.

Today, we went and did some site seeing before hitting the road. I snapped this picture of a vendor selling sweetgrass baskets and it reminded me of my anthro class. I figured I would forward it to Prof. Hargrove, so that she knew I did actually learn in her class and liked it.

Keep on Trucking,
James
